Swan's Strategic Expansion in Benelux Following Amsterdam Launch
Swan, a prominent fintech specializing in embedded banking, has reported significant growth in the Benelux region after its local launch in Amsterdam five months ago. The platform now supports over 10 companies across four sectors in developing banking products, enhancing its presence in the region's dynamic fintech ecosystem.
Embedded banking, which decentralizes banking capabilities from traditional banks to tech companies, allows firms such as Ageras and Yuki to create integrated user experiences. This shift not only streamlines services across financial management, HR, and real estate but also significantly increases revenue per user, as stated by Nicolas Benady, Swan's co-founder and CEO.
The localized approach includes offering Dutch accounts and ensuring compliance with local laws, in association with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). As part of its expansion, Swan has introduced new payment features and plans further enhancements, including international credit transfers in collaboration with WISE.
Swan's integration with companies like Fincluded and Floryn highlights its role in revolutionizing banking by enabling software companies to incorporate financial services, promoting inclusion and streamlined financial operations.
