Swiss Company Procivis AG Wins U.S. Department of Homeland Security Tender
The Swiss startup Procivis AG has secured a significant contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as part of the Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP). Procivis will work on digital open-source wallets and verifier components for decentralized digital identities.
Procivis was chosen due to its expertise in digital identity solutions and its innovative software, Procivis One. This technology will help DHS enhance privacy, security, and interoperability among digital credential systems. Procivis One meets the requirements of the Swiss E-ID ecosystem, European eIDAS 2.0 regulation, and DHS.
Procivis One's features include privacy protection, operational control, deployment readiness, flexibility, and high performance. The modular architecture allows it to integrate seamlessly into existing systems and support millions of users.
During SVIP Demo Week, Co-CEO Andreas Freitag showcased Procivis One, highlighting its ability to meet various national and international standards. This collaboration marks a crucial step for both Procivis AG and the DHS in advancing secure digital identities.
