SYNLAB Italy Resumes Operations After Cyber-Attack

SYNLAB Italy has successfully restored its operations following a significant cyber-attack which had initially forced the company to suspend its services. The move to halt operations was described as a precautionary measure aimed to ensure data and system security. The resumption of services includes the majority of SYNLAB Italy's laboratories and blood collection points (BCPs), which are now operational again, providing routine services to both patients and customers. In response to the attack, SYNLAB Italy formed a specialized task force consisting of internal and external security experts and is working closely with law enforcement to investigate the incident.
