Tarkett Group Reports Slight Decline in Q1 2025 Organic Sales

Tarkett Group disclosed a slight decrease of 1.7% in organic sales for Q1 2025 compared to the same period last year. Overall sales slightly rose by 0.2% to 670 million euros. The decline mainly stemmed from North America, which experienced a significant drop of 15.6%, due to consolidation delays in distribution platforms and reduced shipping capacity.
In contrast, Tarkett's EMEA segment saw a modest increase of 2.3% in sales, thanks to stable demand in commercial sectors despite a challenging macroeconomic environment. The CIS, APAC, and Latin America segments also exhibited a growth of 1.5%. The sports segment recorded an impressive 18.4% rise in sales, benefiting from robust demand for artificial turf and athletics tracks.
While Tarkett's global sales prices remained steady, the firm remains vigilant amid economic uncertainties and potential growth slowdowns in its primary markets.
