Tarku Acquires the Nickel, Copper Dana Project in Quebec
Tarku Resources Ltd has announced the acquisition of the Dana Project located in Quebec, which includes resources such as nickel, copper, cobalt, and platinum-group elements (PGEs). This new addition complements Tarku's existing projects in Quebec and Arizona, aiming to enhance the long-term value of the company.
Julien Davy, the CEO of Tarku, highlighted the acquisition as an opportunity to add strategic value through underexplored domains, due to the current challenging environment for capital raising in the exploration sector.
The Dana Project is near the Havre-Saint-Pierre anorthosite complex known for its various mineral deposits. Historical data from the site shows significant polymetallic mineralization, which according to recent studies, aligns well with the characteristics required for hosting magmatic nickel-copper deposits.
Tarku is preparing for a forthcoming exploration program at the Dana site, consolidating geological data to assess potential mineral deposits. The management expresses confidence in the prospects of Dana based on its geological setup and previous findings of high-grade mineralization.
