TDG Gold Corp. Discovers New Copper-Gold Porphyry Target in Saunders Area

TDG Gold Corp. has announced the identification of a new target within the Saunders area of the Baker Complex, signaling a prospective opportunity for copper-gold-molybdenum porphyry discovery. This area, spanning over 5 square kilometers and known as “Trident1”, has not been subjected to drill testing previously. Located approximately 5 kilometers from TDG's Baker Mill, this target is noteworthy for its geological features indicative of a significant porphyry system and is open to expansion in multiple directions.

The identification of Trident1 was bolstered by a comprehensive review of historical exploration data and recent geological analyses. This included a Lithic Drainage Sampling survey which revealed strong indications of copper, gold, and molybdenum, among other elements. The geological interpretation suggests the presence of a causative intrusion indicative of a large porphyry system, a finding consistent with the mineralization patterns seen in other significant deposits within the region.

TDG's exploration efforts also revealed that much of the Saunders area contains elements typical of the upper reaches of porphyry systems, expanding the known extent of potentially mineralized zones. With limited exploration conducted in the past, the company sees significant potential in the newly identified Trident target for future exploration endeavors.
