Teach Access Announces 2024-2025 Digital Accessibility Grant Winners

Teach Access, the national non-profit organization focused on bridging the digital accessibility skills gap, has unveiled the recipients of its 2024-2025 Grants program. This initiative will support 25 U.S. faculty members as they integrate digital accessibility concepts into their courses. The announcement coincides with Global Accessibility Awareness Day.

Since its founding in 2016, Teach Access has actively promoted education in digital accessibility, reaching over 500,000 students. Each grant winner will receive $2,000 to enrich their curricula with accessibility teachings, making strides toward inclusive digital environments. The grants facilitate the development of open-access educational resources, vastly extending the program's impact.

The awarded educators come from a variety of esteemed institutions across the nation, pushing forward Teach Access's mission to mold a workforce fluent in accessibility. As part of their ongoing efforts to foster inclusive technology design, Teach Access encourages proposals for their next grant cycle starting in February 2025.
