TeamViewer Acquires 1E to Expand in Digital Workplace Management

TeamViewer, a leader in remote connectivity solutions, has announced the acquisition of 1E, a company specializing in Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management. The transaction, valued at an enterprise of $720 million, aims to bolster TeamViewer’s presence in North America and enhance its offerings for IT operations and user experience. This strategic move is set to conclude in early 2025, pending regulatory approvals.

The merger is expected to integrate TeamViewer's remote solutions with 1E’s DEX platform, creating a comprehensive IT management service. It strengthens TeamViewer’s foothold in the DEX market, potentially expanding its total addressable market significantly. The acquisition also accelerates TeamViewer’s enterprise growth and innovation capabilities, particularly in AI.

1E CEO, Mark Banfield, is set to join TeamViewer as Chief Commercial Officer. The transaction is also expected to yield strong revenue synergies and broaden TeamViewer's reach in EMEA and APAC regions. Ultimately, this move aims to provide enhanced customer solutions across industries.
