TeamViewer Announces Acquisition of Digital Employee Experience Leader 1E

TeamViewer SE, a prominent name in remote connectivity and digital workplace solutions, has announced its decision to acquire 1E, a leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management. The acquisition agreement was signed with Carlyle Europe Technology Partners, part of Carlyle, a global investment firm. The transaction values 1E at USD 720 million, on a cash-free, debt-free basis. Completion is expected in early 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.

This acquisition aims to transform TeamViewer's market position by merging its remote access expertise with 1E's autonomous IT platform. This move intends to enhance IT operations, endpoint management, and user experience in the digital workplace.
