Tectonic Metals Extends Mineralization at Chicken Mountain
Tectonic Metals Inc. has reported significant drilling results from its 2026 program at Chicken Mountain within the Flat Gold Project in Alaska. The drilling underscores the project's potential as a bulk-tonnage Reduced Intrusion Related Gold System (RIRGS) with possible heap-leach processing.
Diamond hole CMD26-036 recorded 1.40 grams per tonne of gold over 30 meters, including a high-grade segment of 4.58 g/t over 4.50 meters, confirming mineralization down to 300 meters. Additionally, 0.51 g/t Au was found over 118.16 meters, emphasizing the resource's depth.
Southern extensions have expanded the mineralized footprint by 200 meters, reaching 600 meters in length. Notably, RC hole CMR26-142 achieved 0.56 g/t Au over 38.10 meters. These findings indicate ongoing growth potential, with assays still pending for 97 more drill holes, foreshadowing a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate in Q1 2027.
