TerraNova: Indigenous Excellence in Defence - Key Player in $211.6M CF-18 Contract

Arcfield Canada Corp. has been awarded up to $211.6 million by the Department of National Defence (DND) to enhance the CF-18 fighter jet fleet's support. TerraNova’s inclusion highlights its dedication and expertise, ensuring the operational efficiency of Canada's defence systems.

TerraNova supports the new government policy of awarding at least 5% of federal contracts to Indigenous-owned businesses, aligning with its commitment to Indigenous prosperity. CEO Len Anderson highlights TerraNova's commitment to ensuring the peak operational readiness of Canada's fleet through reverse engineering, repair, and redesign of legacy components.

The contract aims to sustain the CF-18 fleet until the introduction of F-35 jets. It covers an initial five-year term with options for five additional one-year extensions, demonstrating a long-term commitment to Canada’s defence readiness.
