TCMA and Saskatchewan Collaborate on Net Zero Initiatives

The Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and the Government of Saskatchewan, Canada have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This agreement aims to exchange expertise to promote the adoption of CCUS technology and clean energy, advancing the cement industry towards Net Zero by 2050. It supports Thailand's climate goals outlined in NDC 3.0, with a focus on pilot projects in the Saraburi Sandbox.

The partnership is marked by sustainable industrial development goals and emphasizes collaboration on green energy transition and advanced CCUS technologies. A joint working group will track the implementation with annual reports, focusing on technical expertise, capacity building, and business connections through various activities.

Officials from both Thailand and Saskatchewan praise the collaboration, highlighting opportunities for innovation, industrial sustainability, and climate goal achievements, reinforcing bilateral relations and expanding trade and investment.
