The Burkhalter Group acquires Kippel Leo + Söhne AG in Valais

On July 1, 2024, the Burkhalter Group officially took over Kippel Leo + Söhne AG, a building technology company located in Susten in Valais. This company, employing around twenty people, generates an annual turnover of CHF 6 million.

Founded more than fifty years ago, Kippel Leo + Söhne AG specializes in the sanitary, solar and heating sectors. The owners Adolf and Flavian Kippel have decided to sell the company to Burkhalter Holding SA, which will merge it with Lauber IWISA AG, another company from Upper Valais already belonging to the group.

The merger will take effect on January 1, 2025. All employees will be retained and the Susten site will remain operational. The former owners, Adolf and Flavian Kippel, will continue to work within the company. This acquisition is part of Burkhalter's strategy to increase its market share in building technology.
