The CE Shop Foundation Marks 10 Years of Tackling Childhood Hunger

The CE Shop Foundation, based in Denver, is celebrating a decade of efforts against childhood hunger, having donated over $1,597,069. Through collaboration with employees, students, and partners, the Foundation has provided more than 1.2 million meals, aiding over 300,000 families. This initiative has transformed lives in a region where one in seven children face food insecurity.

The Foundation supports Food For Thought Denver, supplying weekend food packs to needy children across 75 schools. Founder Michael McAllister highlighted the significant role of donors in sustaining this program, emphasizing the goal to reduce hunger-related issues like illness and anxiety.

By harnessing contributions via payroll deductions and course purchases, The CE Shop Foundation empowers children to focus on learning rather than hunger, aligning with its educational mission.
