The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association Launches Online Micro-Course for Rare Neuroimmune Disorders

The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association (SRNA) has introduced new courses in its online learning program. This innovative educational series aims to improve understanding of rare neuroimmune disorders, developed in collaboration with medical experts.

The program seeks to enhance knowledge and health literacy among those affected by these conditions, reduce uncertainty about diagnoses, and provide resources for meaningful discussions with healthcare practitioners. Membership is free, ensuring access to a wealth of information, support, and education.

Courses cover disorders such as acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, acute flaccid myelitis, MOG antibody disease, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, optic neuritis, and transverse myelitis. Each course features videos, animations, text, and knowledge checks, accessible to individuals with low vision.

SRNA continues its commitment to educating individuals and families affected by these lifelong disorders and encourages public engagement during its 30th anniversary events. Visit the SRNA website for more information.
