Thorsten Haeser Joins Sunrise as New Chief Business Officer

Sunrise UPC GmbH has announced Thorsten Haeser's appointment as Chief Business Officer, succeeding Robert Redeleanu. Redeleanu transitions to Managing Director Digital Infrastructure within the Liberty Global Group after ensuring a smooth handover. Haeser will co-lead Sunrise's B2B business immediately and fully assume his role by September 1.

Haeser brings extensive experience in enterprise customer development, having held notable positions at Nets/Concardis, Hapag-Lloyd, and Versatel. His duties will include driving growth and diversification within Sunrise's business portfolio, focusing on telecommunications, cloud computing, cybersecurity, IoT, and managed services.

With nearly 15 years in telecommunications and a strong presence in the DACH region, Haeser is well-equipped to enhance Sunrise Business's support for digitalization efforts. He has previously held senior roles at companies such as O2 (Telefónica), SIXT, and Nets/Concardis, significantly contributing to corporate customer expansion and technology application.
