Thyssenkrupp Nucera and Hydrom Join Forces for Oman's Green Hydrogen Industry

Thyssenkrupp Nucera and Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the green hydrogen potential in Oman. This collaboration aims to localize the assembly and service hubs for water electrolyzers, expanding Thyssenkrupp Nucera's presence in the Middle East.

Oman's Minister of Energy and Minerals, Salim Nasser Al Aufi, attended the MoU signing. Hydrom, as Oman's green hydrogen strategy orchestrator, has allocated over 2,300 square kilometers for hydrogen production to contribute to a sustainable economy. The goal is to align with Oman's Vision 2040, which includes achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

Oman's strategic location and infrastructure further bolster its position as a first-mover in the global hydrogen market, aiming to become a leading hub for green hydrogen.
