TINC, an infrastructure investor listed on Euronext Brussels, has joined the SPI.R0 consortium with Jan De Nul and Willemen. This consortium has been awarded the contract to convert the R0 x A201 traffic interchange, crucial for connecting the Brussels ring road to Brussels Airport.

The project, valued at approximately €350 million, involves redesigning and managing the interchange using a DBFM PPP model. The Flemish government will pay availability fees for the 34-year project, set to begin construction in October 2024 and expected to be operational by spring 2028.

This venture is entirely financed by Belgian partners. TINC is investing €17 million for a 45% stake in the project, with committed funds to be realized by 2028 upon commissioning.
