Tocvan Ventures Corp Extends Mineralized Zones at Pilar Project in Mexico
Tocvan Ventures Corp. has reported positive drill results from its 2024 Reverse Circulation drill program at the Pilar Gold-Silver project in Sonora, Mexico. The exploration drilling extends the mineralized strike length over 900 meters southeast of the Main Zone.
The 4-T Trend exploration yielded significant results, with JES-24-96 returning 126.6 meters of 0.1 g/t Au and 2 g/t Ag, including an interval of 7.6 meters of 0.5 g/t Au and 22 g/t Ag. Notably, North Hill Trend’s hole JES-24-97 recorded 15.3 meters of 0.1 g/t Au and 2 g/t Ag from 16.8 meters depth.
Infill drilling also showed promise. JES-24-98 intercepted 22.9 meters of 0.2 g/t Au and 1 g/t Ag, confirming mineralization continuity. Surface sampling continues to define a broader mineralized footprint, enhancing future exploration targets.
The major producer involved remains interested, highlighting the region's multi-million-ounce gold potential. The 2024 drill program, covering over 3,700 meters, aims to bolster resource definition, expand targets, and secure permits for pilot-scale mining at Pilar.
