Tocvan Ventures Resumes Drilling at Gran Pilar Project
Tocvan Ventures Corp has resumed drilling at the Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. The focus is on an expansion zone where previous drilling indicated significant gold and silver mineralization. This phase involves 1,500 meters of planned drilling with a potential increase, following initial scout drilling yielding valuable results.
The targeted area spans 675 meters, with results pending for three core holes. CEO Brodie Sutherland highlighted the promising high-grade gold near the surface and the potential for further discovery in unexplored northern and eastern sections.
Previously, exploratory drilling activities showed considerable gold yields. With gold prices soaring, Tocvan intends to establish a pilot facility for processing up to 50,000 tonnes, leveraging promising prior results for both gold and silver recovery. This strategic step aims to showcase the project's potential and contribute to regional development.
