Tonies SE Reports Strong Half-Year Results, Eyes Robust 2024

Tonies SE, an international digital audio platform for children, has reported strong financial results for H1 2024. Group revenue surged by 29.8% YOY to EUR 146.8 million, fueled by international expansion. North America was a significant driver, with revenue soaring 63.3% to EUR 55.2 million.

The company’s adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 2.6%, and its free cash flow deficit narrowed from EUR -39.0 million to EUR -32.0 million. Multi-year contracts with Disney and Paramount are expected to further boost growth.

Tonies expanded in Australia and New Zealand, contributing to a 49.9% revenue increase in the Rest of the World segment. The DACH region also showed notable growth of 8.6% YOY.

Tonieboxes and Tonies figurines saw respective revenue increases of 32.5% and 29.9%. Accessories & Digital revenue grew by 16.9%. Tonies remains optimistic about achieving its full-year targets and expects group revenue to surpass EUR 480 million by the end of 2024.
