Financial Performance of TotalEnergies EP Gabon in the First Quarter of 2025
In the first quarter of 2025, TotalEnergies EP Gabon posted a 12% decline in net income, reaching $22 million, compared to the same quarter of 2024. Revenue decreased by 3% to $117 million, impacted by the decline in crude oil prices despite a 7% increase in volumes sold.
The average price of Brent crude oil fell 9% to $75.7 per barrel, impacting the selling price of TotalEnergies EP Gabon's crude oil, which fell 8%. Crude oil production fell slightly by 3%, mainly due to the natural decline of fields. However, oil investments increased 6% to $19 million.
Finally, operating cash flow suffered a significant decline, weighed down by a deferred exceptional dividend, but remains an indicator to monitor for the coming quarters.
