Traffic up for GROUPE ADP in February 2024

25 million passengers, growth of 13.5% compared to 2023

By Rémy EISENSTEIN - GROUPE ADP announced a significant increase in its passenger traffic in February 2024, recording an increase of 13.5% to reach 25 million passengers compared to the same period in 2023. This growth is significant since it represents 109.1% of traffic observed in 2019, before the pandemic.

Specifically, Paris Aéroport observed an increase of 4.7%, welcoming 7 million passengers, which corresponds to 96.4% of 2019 traffic. This performance was slightly impacted by the experimentation of the air traffic management system 4-Flight, leading to a reduction in flights and an estimated traffic shortfall of around 350,000 passengers in February.

The group's other airports saw notable increases, including TAV Airports with an increase of 29.5%, representing 122.8% of 2019 traffic, and GMR Airports with an increase of 11.4%, or 115.0%. traffic in 2019. These performances demonstrate the resilience and continued growth of the airport sector despite recent challenges.

Concerning the geographical distribution of traffic, we note an increase in almost all regions. Asia-Pacific stood out with an impressive growth of 47.0% for Paris Aéroport, although it only represented 88.9% of 2019 traffic.

GROUPE ADP plans to continue to develop its reception capacities and improve the quality of its services, in accordance with its long-term strategy.
