Transparency Launches To Forge The Future Of Drug Safety With Portable Test Kits For Every Substance
LINCOLN, NE / ACCESSWIRE / July 23, 2024 — Transparency, a harm reduction organization offering at-home drug testing kits, has officially launched as the parent organization of the Bunk Police. Transparency aims to enhance consumer safety and awareness about drug adulteration, focusing on expanding into at-risk markets and distribution channels with new and affordable test kits.
Adam Auctor, founder and CEO of Transparency, commented on the company's mission to empower individuals and safeguard public health. Drug-related deaths among U.S. adults aged 18-45 often result from dangerous adulterants like fentanyl. Many Americans struggle to afford their medications, prompting some to turn to unregulated sources where counterfeit drugs are common.
Despite the life-saving potential of substance test kits, public awareness is low and a stigma around drug testing persists. Transparency plans to tackle these issues by making test kits accessible in traditional retail channels and improving their shelf life, portability, and affordability.
Auctor has invested $1M to build a substance reaction library. Transparency's new AI-powered Harm Reduction app will further enhance the user experience, allowing easy access to research and accurate interpretations of test results.
The launch includes the release of the documentary Poison Pills, which exposes the sale of dangerous pharmaceuticals in licensed Mexican pharmacies. The documentary features hidden-camera footage and expert interviews, highlighting the severity of the issue.
