Trifecta Gold Reports 2026 Drill Results at Rye Project, Yukon
Trifecta Gold Ltd. has released the results from its 2026 drill campaign at the Rye Project in Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt. The campaign, targeting Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS), encompassed 1,852 meters over six holes. Notable outcomes include a copper-silver zone intersected in hole RY-26-07 from 165.19 m to 190.92 m, and a larger gold zone extending from 256.03 m to 296.00 m. Hole RY-26-08 intersected a silver-rich zone, although it faced drilling challenges.
Trifecta's systematic exploration aims for efficient capital use while identifying attractive targets. CEO Richard Drechsler stated the company will shift focus to other prospective areas within its portfolio. The QA/QC processes were deemed acceptable for the drill results.
The Tombstone Gold Belt, hosting significant mines like Fort Knox and Eagle, continues to be a prolific region for gold discoveries, with over 20 million ounces found since 2020.
