Trigano Reports Strong Growth in First Half-Year Results of 2023/2024

Trigano announced a significant increase in its consolidated current operating profit for the first half of the 2023/2024 fiscal year, reporting €243.2 million, a 40.3% rise from the previous year. This growth reflects an operating margin of 12.8%, compared to 10.8% in the prior period. The company's ongoing success is primarily attributed to a robust performance in the leisure vehicles sector, which saw revenues reach €1,827.5 million against €1,528.4 million in the previous year.

Despite an impressive overall performance, the leisure equipment division experienced a slight downturn, facing challenges due to under-activity which impacted its manufacturing costs and productivity. The net result for the period stood at €180.5 million, up 48.3% year-on-year, with earnings per share increasing to €9.34.

Trigano also continued its strategic expansion by acquiring 12 new sales points within the Libertium network, costing a total of €37.6 million. The company financed these acquisitions along with other investments of €33.1 million and maintained shareholder returns by issuing dividends worth €33.8 million during the reporting period.

Future projections suggest a stable demand in the motorhome market, with new vehicle launches anticipated in the coming months ensuring competitiveness. The company is cautious about potential disruptions due to the new Euro6e standard coming into effect in September 2024 but remains committed to market adaptation and strategic growth opportunities.
