Triton to Sell EQOS to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes
Triton Beratungsgesellschaft GmbH, through funds it advises, has entered into an agreement to sell EQOS, a prominent specialty installation and service provider for critical infrastructure in Europe, to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is contingent upon customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
Under Triton's stewardship, EQOS has evolved into a key player in infrastructure services with approximately EUR 459 million in sales and around 1,700 employees. The company offers comprehensive solutions from consulting and planning to installation and maintenance in sectors such as power grid, energy, mobile communication, and railways.
The sale follows significant strategic reforms and leadership restructuring at EQOS, aimed at refining the company’s focus on its core operations. Triton's efforts have transformed EQOS into a profitable entity, recording consistent growth and preparing it for further successes under new ownership with Eiffage, which plans to use the acquisition to strengthen its market position in Germany and Austria and broaden its reach into energy infrastructure.
