Tronics Microsystems Announces Annual Results as of March 31, 2024

Tronics Microsystems, a subsidiary of the TDK Group, has announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. The company reported a 6% increase in consolidated revenue from continuing operations, reaching €13.6M. This growth was driven by a rise in demand for their digital MEMS inertial sensors. Manufacturing activities contributed €11.6M, while engineering revenues decreased to €2.1M.

The company's focus on improving production efficiency and controlling costs resulted in a 39% increase in operating income from continuing operations, totaling €1.4M. Net income from continuing operations was €1.0M.

The fiscal year 2024 financials also reflect the closure of Tronics' US operations and the sale of Tronics MEMS Inc. assets. These actions, classified as "discontinued activities," resulted in a net income of €1.7M from discontinued operations.

As of March 31, 2024, Tronics' equity stood at minus €6.2M, while gross debt was €12.9M, a decrease of €7.2M from the previous year. The company continues to benefit from financial support from the TDK Group to meet its investment needs.

Looking ahead, Tronics aims to grow its inertial sensors revenue and accelerate the commercialization of its AXO and GYPRO product lines. Continued investment in R&D will focus on expanding their portfolio of inertial MEMS products for high-value industrial applications.
