Troy Mineral’s Lake Owen Project Fully Permitted for Phase One 2024 Drilling
Troy Minerals Inc. has announced that it has obtained the final permits for the Phase One 2024 drilling campaign at the Lake Owen Project in Wyoming. The project is located about 50 km southwest of Laramie, Wyoming.
The U.S. government has previously recognized the Lake Owen Complex as a potential source of strategic metals such as vanadium, titanium, PGE, and copper and nickel sulfides. An airborne geophysical survey by the USGS covered the Lake Owen Complex, mapping and sampling the area at no cost to the company.
The company plans to test several magnetite-rich gabbro targets, expecting high-grade intercepts of TiO2 and V2O5. Drilling is anticipated to begin by the end of June or early July 2024.
The Lake Owen Project is a Proterozoic layered mafic intrusion complex with significant potential for vanadium, titanium, and PGE enrichment, similar to other well-known mineral deposits.
