TRT World Forum 2025 Concludes, Addressing Key Global Issues
The TRT World Forum 2025, held in Istanbul from October 31 to November 1, marked its 9th edition with the theme “The Global Reset: From the Old Order to New Realities.” The event featured nearly 150 speakers from over 30 countries and attracted over 1,500 participants globally. It served as a platform for policymakers, journalists, academics, and experts to discuss strategic autonomy, diplomacy, and other global concerns.
Key topics included East Africa's conflict and reconciliation, the transformation in Trump's America, and the rise of the far right. High-profile figures such as Former Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic Djoomart Otorbaev and others addressed these issues during open sessions.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and TRT Director General Mehmet Zahid Sobacı delivered inaugural speeches. The forum also remembered journalists lost in Gaza, enhancing the dialogue on global media challenges.
