Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S.: Division of Top Management’s Duties
On August 2nd, 2024, it was revealed that Mr. Mahmut Akten, previously in charge of Corporate Investment Banking Services and Global Markets, has been appointed the new CEO of Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Following this change, Mr. Çağrı Süzer, currently Executive Vice President in charge of Customer Solutions and Digital Banking, will take over the Executive Vice President position in charge of Corporate, Investment Banking & Global Markets.
Mr. Süzer’s former duties will now be split into two areas. Retail Customer Solutions will be managed by the Executive Vice President in charge of Retail Banking. Similarly, Commercial Customer Solutions will be overseen by the Executive Vice President in charge of Commercial Banking.
