Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Receives CMB Approval for Foreign Bond Issuance
Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. announced it has received approval from the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for a bond issuance aimed at foreign markets. This is part of the bank's Global Medium Term Notes (GMTN) program, originally established in 2013. The initiative allows the bank to issue borrowing instruments in any currency with varying series and maturities.
The issuance certificate pertains to bonds with the International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) XS3169054478. Set to be issued on August 28, 2025, the bonds will mature by September 2, 2026, featuring a nominal amount of USD 50 million.
Garanti BBVA disclosed that the Turkish version of the public announcement will prevail in case of any discrepancies. They confirmed the accuracy and compliance of the information with their records.
