United Internet Reports 2024 Results and Outlines 2025 Outlook

United Internet AG has reported its final results for 2024, aligning with preliminary figures announced earlier. The company saw an increase of 590,000 customer contracts, reaching a total of 29.02 million. Sales rose by 1.9%, totaling EUR 6.329 billion, despite a reduction in hardware sales. EBITDA grew slightly to EUR 1,294.0 million, though startup costs for the 1&1 mobile network increased.
The management proposes a dividend of EUR 0.40 per share, accompanied by a catch-up dividend of EUR 1.50. This compensates for reduced dividends from fiscal years 2018 to 2023. For 2025, United Internet projects sales of around EUR 6.4 billion and EBITDA of about EUR 1.35 billion. These figures include a EUR 20 million impact from 1&1's new national roaming agreement.
Overall, United Internet anticipates maintaining its dividend policy while investing in network expansion.
