United Labels AG Reports First Half of 2024 Results and Optimistic Forecast for Full Year
United Labels AG, a leading European brand manufacturer in the media and entertainment sector, reported consolidated sales of EUR 10.2 million for the first half of 2024. This marks a decline from the previous year's EUR 13.3 million, attributed to order postponements. Despite lower sales, a higher gross profit margin led to an increased EBITDA of EUR 1.2 million, up from EUR 1.1 million the previous year.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) also saw a rise to EUR 1.1 million, from EUR 1.0 million, with the net profit remaining stable at EUR 0.6 million. The company's e-commerce sector showed significant growth, with a revenue increase of 93% to EUR 1.2 million in the same period.
CEO Peter Boder expressed satisfaction with the performance and optimism for the second half of the year. The order backlog increased by 17% to EUR 12.2 million. The company expects continued growth in sales and earnings for the full year 2024, bolstered by a strong fourth quarter.
