United Media Services Participates in Panel Discussion at IBC 2024
United Media Services (UMS) took part in the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam. The panel titled "Reconfiguring an Established Media Ecosystem by Embracing Disruptive Technological Innovations" featured CEO Amr El Feki and WATCH IT's Nashwa Gad E Haq. Allan Mclennan moderated the discussion.
El Feki highlighted UMS's sustainable economic model and technological advancements since its founding eight years ago. UMS operates 46 companies, 17 television channels, and several other media platforms, employing 9,000 people.
Nashwa Gad El Haq discussed UMS's investments in technology and the success of WATCH IT as Egypt's leading entertainment platform. The move towards a subscription-based model was emphasized as a strategic shift in consumer behavior.
The IBC event, a major convention in media technology, showcased the latest innovations and smart solutions in the field, attracting professionals globally.
