UPERGY maintains its billings in the 1st quarter of 2024 despite challenges
UPERGY's financial results for the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 11.9 million euros, a stabilization compared to the previous year despite a slight variation at current and constant exchange rates. The BtoB sector, which constitutes 90% of its activity, saw an increase of 1.1% in its billings, while the BtoC sector suffered a drop of 10.7% following a cyberattack which disrupted payments. . The company nevertheless expects its profitability to improve in 2024.
UPERGY's growth was moderately slowed by a few obstacles, notably the launch of its new e-commerce platform and an unfavorable comparison in the audiovisual battery sector following a strike. Nevertheless, the company expects sustained growth for the rest of the year, supported by favorable gross margin expectations. Next steps include the general meeting of shareholders at the end of May and the publication of second quarter results in July.
