Upwind Introduces Identity Security Solution to its Cloud Platform

In response to the rising number of identity-based cybersecurity threats, Upwind announced the integration of an identity security solution into its Cloud Security Platform. This solution aims to bolster security by managing both human and machine identities through Cloud Identity Entitlement Management (CIEM), leveraging runtime data to identify and mitigate risks. As identity attacks grow, with 84% of organizations facing such breaches in the past year, Upwind's solution offers a proactive approach to securing digital identities.

The global CIEM market is expected to see significant growth, jumping from USD 1.2 billion in 2023 to USD 7.5 billion by 2028. Upwind's new offering focuses on minimizing the attack surface by enabling organizations to manage identities with the least privilege necessary, addressing challenges in auditing, compliance, and risk management. This approach not only enhances security but also supports organizational agility by streamlining identity management processes.

Amiram Shachar, Co-Founder and CEO of Upwind, highlights the benefits of their Identity Security offering, emphasizing its role in reducing attack surfaces, detecting threats, and optimizing policies for robust identity management. This addition strengthens Upwind's comprehensive Cloud Security Platform, providing customers with extensive visibility and control over their cloud environment's human and machine identities.
