Upwind Launches Major Extension of Its Platform With Agentless Cloud Scanners

Upwind has introduced a major extension of its platform with the release of Upwind Agentless Cloud Scanners. This new feature enhances the Upwind Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) by offering an agentless approach to cloud security, particularly in environments where eBPF sensors are not deployable.

According to Co-Founder and CEO Amiram Shachar, this development aims to simplify cloud security and meet a variety of needs. The Agentless Cloud Scanners provide deep visibility and protection across a range of architectures, including AWS Fargate, AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Run, and older OS versions. They also offer capabilities like identifying misconfigurations, malware, exposed secrets, and vulnerabilities.

The Upwind Cloud Scanners complement the company's existing real-time monitoring and protection features. This combination of sensors and scanners is designed for streamlined deployment, delivering end-to-end visibility and protection across multiple cloud and architecture types.
