Ur-Energy Secures Approval for LC East Project Expansion

Ur-Energy Inc. announced that the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality has approved amendments to the Lost Creek Permit to Mine, allowing the company to expand operations at the LC East Project. This includes six new mine units in the HJ and KM geologic horizons, potentially increasing uranium recovery with estimated mineral resources of 1.378 million pounds U3O8 measured, 1.635 million pounds indicated, and 2.220 million pounds inferred.
The Bureau of Land Management and the Wyoming Uranium Recovery Program had previously approved related plans, with only the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s aquifer exemption approval pending. This development follows recent federal support for domestic energy projects under President Trump's administration, signaling potential positive impacts on Ur-Energy's operations.
