US Med-Equip and Sentec Unite to Enhance Respiratory Care Nationwide
US Med-Equip (USME) and Sentec have formed a partnership to aid clinicians with advanced respiratory monitoring for critically ill patients, including newborns. USME, a prominent provider of medical equipment rentals, integrates Sentec's transcutaneous monitoring (TCM) devices into its offerings. TCM provides non-invasive monitoring of carbon dioxide levels and oxygen saturation, crucial for patient care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs).
The partnership also includes Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV) technology, aiding respiratory patient care by restoring lung function. This collaboration allows healthcare providers greater access to essential non-invasive equipment, vital in intensive care and emergency departments.
Sentec CEO Bob Cormier emphasizes the partnership's role in supporting hospital customers during high patient demand. USME CEO Greg Salario states the alliance enhances access to advanced monitoring solutions. This reflects a trend in healthcare integrating advanced technology and on-demand service.
