U.S. Polo Assn. Presents the Firenze Polo Tribute at Florence's Santa Croce Square
FLORENCE, ITALY AND WEST PALM BEACH, FL / ACCESSWIRE / June 18, 2024 - U.S. Polo Assn. hosted the Firenze Polo Tribute at Santa Croce Square in Florence. This event was timed with Pitti Immagine Uomo, a leading menswear tradeshow.
The historic square saw its first polo game, an arena-style match between the Italian and French National Teams. Supported by the Italian and French Federations and the Municipality of Florence, the game concluded with Team France winning 8-6.
The event began with the Calcio Storico Legends Match, showcasing traditional Florentine sports. Thousands attended, including media and VIPs. Players included a mix of men and women from both teams.
U.S. Polo Assn. provided custom attire for all participants and distributed special "Firenze Polo Tribute 2024" caps to fans. J. Michael Prince, CEO of USPA Global, was honored as the next Magnifico Messere by Florence.
The event wrapped with a private party at Fondazione Zeffirelli headquarters. U.S. Polo Assn. also displayed its Spring-Summer Collection 2025 at Pitti Immagine Uomo.
