Usha Resources Advances White Willow Lithium Project with Key Payments and Drill Target Identification
Usha Resources Ltd., a North American mineral acquisition and exploration company, announced it has completed the first anniversary payments for the White Willow Lithium Pegmatite Project located 170 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The company issued a total of $20,000 and 200,000 common shares to the vendors as part of the transaction. These shares will be held for a period of four months in addition to the TSX Venture Exchange hold period.
CEO Deepak Varshney expressed satisfaction with the progress at White Willow, highlighting the expansion of the project and the identification of 10 primary drill target areas along a 44 km trend. Usha Resources plans to commence a 4,000 metre maiden drilling program in 2024, expecting significant developments in Ontario’s lithium sector. Currently, Phase 4 of fieldwork is in progress, aiming to further outline the drill-ready areas before drilling begins in the spring.
The White Willow Project spans over 22,000 hectares and is recognized for hosting a fertile lithium-cesium-tantalum system with significant lithium potential. Since acquiring the project, Usha Resources has completed extensive fieldwork, identifying high concentrations of lithium, cesium, and tantalum in the pegmatites. These findings underscore the project’s potential as a flagship asset for the company and for Ontario’s lithium supply.
