V-ZUG Reports Decline in 2025 Half-Year Results

V-ZUG Holding AG has announced a decline in its 2025 half-year results. Net sales fell to CHF 271.2 million, representing a 4.5% decrease compared to the previous year. The decline was primarily due to reduced sales volumes in Switzerland and Asia, although Europe remained stable and North America showed positive growth. Operating profit also decreased to CHF 3.0 million, down from CHF 8.8 million in the previous year, largely attributed to lower sales volumes.

The company's first-half performance resulted in a cash outflow from operating activities of CHF -22.3 million, exacerbated by increased inventory levels. Despite the challenges, the order book remains encouraging, driven by international projects expected in the second half of the year. Efforts to enhance efficiency through the "Simplify" initiative and new partner models are underway. V-ZUG remains cautious as it aims to bolster sales and profitability in the latter half of the year, acknowledging the risk of annual results not surpassing those of 2024.
