Providence Film Group, a subsidiary of Valiant Eagle Inc., has announced the development and financing of "Last Voice," a historical drama about Bilal ibn Rabah. With a budget of $51 million, this will be the highest-budget African American independent film to date. The project aims to set a new standard for Black representation and storytelling in Hollywood.
"Last Voice" promises a blend of emotional power and historical accuracy, telling the story of Bilal's faith and perseverance. The film’s financing is fully secured through private equity, led by Executive Producer Ezzat Jallad, ensuring smooth production. The creative team is currently being assembled.
The film targets not only Black and Muslim audiences but also anyone interested in faith-driven narratives. It is expected to reach global audiences with an ambitious box office goal of $500 million and plans for a franchise.
