Vallourec receives an "Investment Grade" rating from Moody's and S&P
On November 27, 2025, Vallourec, a specialist in seamless tubular solutions, announced an upgrade of its credit ratings by Moody's and S&P Global. Fitch had already assigned the company an "Investment Grade" rating in April 2025. Moody's raised Vallourec's rating to Baa3 with a stable outlook, while S&P Global adjusted both the long- and short-term ratings to BBB-/A-3, also with a stable outlook. This development reflects Vallourec's successful strategic transformation, focused on high value-added products and a significant reduction in fixed costs since 2022.
Philippe Guillemot, CEO of Vallourec, welcomed these ratings, highlighting the company's financial strength and sustainable cash flow generation. This status will allow Vallourec to optimize its balance sheet and improve its access to financial markets while strengthening shareholder value.
