VERBIO SE Projects Lower-than-Expected EBITDA for Financial Year 2024/25
Verbio SE has announced its EBITDA forecast for the financial year 2024/25. The company expects to achieve an EBITDA ranging between EUR 120 million and EUR 160 million. This mid-point falls below market expectations, largely due to uncertainties in sales, raw materials, and energy prices.
The Bioethanol/Biomethane segment in North America is projected to boost earnings. The plant in Nevada, Iowa, and increased production in South Bend, Indiana, are promising thanks to favorable margins. Europe is expected to see stable ethanol margins and increased plant capacity utilization.
However, biodiesel margins in Europe are expected to decrease due to tight vegetable oil supplies. Net debt is projected to rise to a maximum of EUR 190 million due to investments in expanding production capacities in Europe and North America.
Verbio SE will disclose detailed information regarding its business developments in its annual report for the financial year 2023/24, available on their website from September 26, 2024.
