Vergnet SA approves the accounts for the 2023 financial year

The Board of Directors of Vergnet SA, an expert in renewable energies, approved the consolidated accounts for the 2023 financial year at its meeting on June 21, 2024. The year was marked by a drastic action plan aimed at rationalizing costs and restructure management.

Vergnet has signed new contracts in Barbados and Micronesia. In France, the company launched a photovoltaic installation activity on industrial and agricultural buildings in May 2023.

The termination of the contract in Niger, financed by the European Union and the AFD, was notable due to a coup d'état. Vergnet then set up financing with its partners to compensate for this loss.

The turnover for 2023 amounts to €23.3 million, an increase of 22% compared to 2022. The net result improves, going from -€20.4 million in 2022 to -9.0 million € in 2023.
