Verimatrix unveils DVB ReAccess, an innovative CAS solution

Verimatrix announced DVB ReAccess, an over-the-air (OTA) retrofit solution for conditional access systems (CAS). This innovation is aimed at one-way satellite broadcast networks where identification and authentication of client devices remains a challenge. DVB ReAccess allows an existing CAS to be replaced without physical intervention, thanks to advanced cryptography and code security techniques.

Cartesian’s Farncombe Security® audit validated DVB ReAccess’ security, placing it on par with best-in-class CAS solutions. This approval reinforces the confidence of satellite broadcast service providers in the protection of their content.
