Victory Battery Metals Corp. acquires interest in uranium property in the Athabasca Basin

Victory Battery Metals Corp. recently announced the acquisition of an optional interest in a uranium property, located near the town of Uranium, in the Beaverlodge District. This area, already rich in mining history, is experiencing renewed interest in uranium exploration, in part thanks to the efforts of Aero Energy Corp. The property, which covers 1,978 ha, benefits from a strategic position north of the Athabasca Basin, recognized worldwide for its high-quality uranium reserves.

The option agreement granted to Victory provides the opportunity to acquire a 100% undivided interest in the property, following a three-year payment and share issuance schedule, intended to encourage exploration and development of the project. This initiative comes against a backdrop of an overall increase in demand and prices for uranium, a crucial element for the production of nuclear energy.

Victory President and CEO Mark Ireton highlights the strategic importance of this acquisition in the company's portfolio, aiming to capitalize on the growing uranium market. The Beaverlodge District and Athabasca Basin are the heart of Canadian uranium production, a region that continues to emerge as a major source of high-quality uranium on the global market.
