Victory Battery Metals Corp. Announces Sale of Tahlo Lake Property
VANCOUVER, BC - Victory Battery Metals Corp. (CSE:VR)(FWB:VR61)(OTC PINK:VRCFF) disclosed the sale of its Tahlo Lake property in British Columbia to Trimera Metals Corp. The sale includes a cash consideration of $90,000 CAD for a 100% interest in the property. Additionally, Victory retains a 2% Gross Metal Royalty (GMR), which can be reduced to 1% upon a $1,000,000 payment by the Royalty Payor. The Royalty Payor also receives a first right of refusal on any future sales of the GMR by Victory.
Mark Ireton, CEO of Victory, linked this transaction to the company's strategic refocusing towards the Kachiwiss Uranium Project in Quebec. He believes this move aligns with the company’s objectives to optimize resources and enhance shareholder value efficiently. The Tahlo Lake divestiture is part of Victory’s broader aim to concentrate on potentially higher yield projects such as the Kachiwiss Uranium Project.
